Workspace

Understand a WizField workspace as an organization-scoped business environment for field-service records and operations.

A WizField workspace is a business environment backed by an organization. Business records remain scoped to that organization instead of becoming one shared pool.

Define Workspace in WizField

WizField uses organization-scoped workspaces to represent businesses. The organization is the top-level tenant boundary for workspace data.

Workspace data can include customers, leads, jobs, estimates, invoices, settings, communications, reports, booking context, and portal-adjacent context.

Keep Workspace Data Organization-Scoped

Each workspace keeps its business data attached to the organization that owns it. Cross-organization access is forbidden for regular tenant users.

This model lets one user work across multiple businesses without merging the businesses' records.

Switch Between Workspaces Explicitly

Multi-business users switch workspaces through the supported organization switcher flow. The active organization comes from the authenticated session.

After a successful switch, WizField navigates to /home so stale client state is cleared and the app reloads under the selected organization context.
