How Marketing Automations Work

Learn how Growth Center Automations V1 uses rules and runs to suggest or create drafts without auto-publishing content.

Growth Center Automations V1 uses rules and runs to support opportunity-triggered marketing workflows. Automations can suggest or create drafts, but V1 does not auto-publish content.

Use Automations Inside Growth Center

Growth Center automations belong to the /marketing product area. They are not the same as legacy CRM /automations for inventory or pricebook automation.

Marketing automation capabilities are RBAC-derived inside Growth Center today. Runtime Growth Center monetization or Stripe entitlement gates are not wired into the marketing module.

Create Rules and Observe Runs

Automations V1 includes rules and runs. Users with publisher permissions can create automation rules, preview behavior, and observe automation runs.

Runs can persist outcomes such as draft creation. Some cooldown skips may not persist a row, so the presence or absence of a run row should not be treated as the only user-facing truth.

Keep Automations Draft-Centered

Automations V1 supports suggest-only or auto-create-draft behavior. When an automation creates a draft, that draft still needs normal review and explicit publishing.

Automation runs can link to a created marketing content draft, but the automation does not bypass the draft workflow.

Do Not Auto-Publish From Automations V1

Growth Center Automations V1 does not auto-publish. Selective auto-publish after review maturity is future scope, not current V1 behavior.

Scheduled or scanner automation triggers beyond opportunity-facing V1 are also deferred scope.
