What Is WizField Language Store?
Understand Language Store as a WizField add-on for worker language preferences, English customer output, organization-scoped entitlements, and snapshot-safe documents.
WizField Language Store helps multilingual field-service teams work internally in preferred languages while keeping supported customer-facing business output in professional English.
Understand the Two Language Store Layers
Language Store has a workspace language layer and a customer English output layer.
The workspace language layer lets an organization decide which worker languages are enabled. Each user can choose a preferred language within the active organization, and the same user may use different preferences in different organizations.
The customer English output layer lets a worker write supported customer-facing dynamic content in an enabled non-English language, then generate English customer-facing output for supported V1 surfaces.
Keep Language Behavior Organization-Aware
Language Store uses shared billing authority with organization-scoped activation and usage. Billing authority remains at the Shared Billing Account, while effective Language Store rights are enforced per covered organization.
Language Store does not use floating translation capacity across all organizations on a billing account. V1 add-on packs are allocated to a specific covered organization unless a later product rule explicitly makes an add-on account-wide.
Understand V1 Plan Capacity
English is always available and does not consume a paid language slot.
| Plan | Worker language capacity | Customer-output translation units |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | English only; Language Store disabled by default | 0 monthly units |
| Pro | 2 additional worker-language slots per covered organization | 250 monthly units per covered organization |
| Business | 5 additional worker-language slots per covered organization | 1000 monthly units per covered organization |
V1 recurring add-on packs can add one worker-language slot or 250 monthly customer-output translation units to one covered organization.
Generate English Output for Supported Customer-Facing Text
Language Store V1 customer-facing translation starts with estimate and invoice line-item names, descriptions, and manual line text that becomes customer-facing snapshot text.
V1 does not expand first-pass translation to every customer-visible field in WizField.
Preserve Customer-Facing Document Stability
Language Store follows a review-and-snapshot pipeline. A worker enters source text, WizField generates an English customer-output draft, the user reviews the English output, and the final approved customer-facing output is persisted.
Once a quote or invoice reaches the snapshot-safe point, the chosen English customer-facing output becomes immutable historical document truth. Later changes to enabled languages, preferences, prompts, providers, or translation quality must not rewrite already-snapshotted customer documents.
Know What Language Store Excludes in V1
Language Store V1 excludes customer-selectable output language, bilingual PDFs, legal or compliance translation packs, warranty or jurisdiction translation packs, dynamic translation of already-sent documents, pooled floating translation capacity, and action-by-action customer billing.
Receipts, job completion summaries, email bodies, and SMS bodies are also excluded until separately approved.
Find Language Store in WizField
Language Store is a Settings or add-on-oriented authenticated surface. Settings may show the primary management entry point, and add-on, billing, or language-management contexts may deep-link to Language Store.
Language Store must not be added to primary shell navigation unless a future owner information-architecture decision changes that.
