Document Snapshot
Understand a Document Snapshot as the stable customer-facing document truth that should not be rewritten by later changes.
A Document Snapshot is stable customer-facing document truth. Once a supported quote or invoice reaches the snapshot-safe point, later changes must not rewrite it.
Define Document Snapshot in WizField
WizField uses immutable snapshots where historical document truth matters. A later settings change must not silently rewrite a previously generated tenant document.
Language Store follows the same rule for supported customer-facing English output.
Preserve Approved English Output
Language Store V1 uses a review-and-snapshot pipeline. A worker enters source text, WizField generates an English customer-output draft, and the user reviews the English output.
The final approved customer-facing output is persisted before quote or invoice snapshot history stores the frozen English text.
Avoid Live Translation During Rendering
Already-snapshotted customer documents must not be coupled to live translation behavior.
Later changes to enabled languages, preferences, prompts, providers, or translation quality must not rewrite already-snapshotted customer documents.
