Activate Your WizField Subscription
Learn how WizField subscription activation works with Stripe, shared billing accounts, and verified webhook synchronization.
WizField subscription activation depends on Stripe-backed billing synchronization, not the checkout success redirect alone. Verified Stripe webhook events reconcile local billing state before billing is treated as active product truth.
Use Stripe Checkout for WizField Billing
Stripe is the active billing provider for WizField. Billing uses a provider abstraction boundary, but Stripe is the current provider implementation.
Owner-authenticated checkout exists in the completed engineering truth. Without live Stripe secrets configured, checkout fails safely with billing_provider_not_configured instead of pretending billing is configured.
Wait for Webhook-Confirmed Subscription State
WizField does not activate billing from the success redirect page alone. Stripe is webhook-authoritative for subscription state synchronization.
After checkout, verified Stripe webhook events reconcile local billing state. The billing success page must not be treated as proof that a subscription has already been activated.
Understand Shared Billing Accounts
Billing authority lives at the Shared Billing Account layer. The billing_accounts model is the authoritative payer and subscription layer, while organization billing linkage projects coverage to organizations.
A single Shared Billing Account may cover multiple organizations under one entitlement. Plan enforcement resolves from organization context through the linked Shared Billing Account.
Know What Remains Owner Activation Scope
The engineering foundation for Stripe-first shared billing is complete, but live Stripe checkout execution and live webhook delivery remain owner activation scope.
Program/public launch approval, production support details, final legal pages, monitoring choices, and production-like rerun evidence are also outside the completed engineering verdict.
